On August millions of Kenyans came up in large numbers to raise funds for their fellow Kenyans who were in dire need of help due to drought. The drought was caused by lack of rainfall in certain parts of the country.
The Kenyan initiative was so successful as they were able to raise over six hundred and eighty million Kenya shillings. currently, majority of the peoples' life in the affected areas, has returned to normalcy. That great effort by the Kenyan people serves as a good example to the rest of the world.
